Ottawa Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Tradeshow & Networking Event (May 17, 2011)

We're still riding the high from last night's Business After Hours Tradeshow & Networking event, put on by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce at le Cite Collegiale. It was our first time ever hosting a booth of our own, and we weren't sure what to expect. We decided to go low-budget, armed only with a canvas painting of our logo, business cards and brochures, and our sparkling personalities. We held a draw for a $150 gift card from Baton Rouge, which was won by Brian Dodsworth, Head Honcho of Bright Future Developments Inc. Turnout was good but not overwhelming, and I have to say it was the best networking event we've attended yet, due to the quality of the conversations we were having with some pretty awesome and fun people who I genuinely hope we'll see again at future events and keep in touch with!
