The Quickbooks Ugly Invoice Club: You Don't Want to be a Member (August 30, 2011)

Although Quickbooks comes equipped with many invoice templates for you to choose from, the bad news is that their layouts are not necessarily pleasing to the eye. The invoice information looks to be dumped wherever there was room to put another box, and the fields don't line up in an organized manner. The good news is that you can easily change this. Your invoice represents your company, and as such we would highly suggest taking the time to come up with a personalized invoice template that you'll be happy sending out to your clients.

We host regular free tutorial sessions for businesses to drop in and learn how they can issue more professional-looking Quickbooks invoices. We can either demonstrate how to do this on our computers, show you how to do it on yours, or just plain do it for you (for the last two, you'd need to bring your laptop with Quickbooks installed). The whole process should be an investment of less than 30 minutes of your time, and the results will last forever.
